This page is a working product document, not legal advice. Replace the placeholder domain and contact details, then have the final policy reviewed for the jurisdictions where you publish the extension.
1. Acceptance
By installing or using Table Capture & Extractor, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension. Replace the placeholder operator details before publishing these terms.
2. The service
The extension helps users capture tables from web pages and PDF files, inspect or edit the extracted structure, and export the result. Features may change as detection, browser APIs, file formats, and the planned free and Pro packages evolve.
3. Your responsibility for source data
You are responsible for having the right to access, capture, use, and share any content processed with the extension. Do not use the product to bypass access controls, violate website terms, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or process data in a way prohibited by law.
The extension does not determine whether a particular table may legally be copied or reused. A page being visible in your browser does not automatically grant permission for every downstream use.
4. Accuracy and review
Extraction is an automated process and may produce missing, duplicated, shifted, or incorrectly typed values. PDF layout, virtualized tables, merged cells, scans, and unusual page structures can reduce accuracy.
You are responsible for reviewing captures and exports before relying on them. Capture Score and type warnings help with review but do not verify the truth, completeness, or legal status of the source data.
5. Third-party websites and files
The extension operates on content provided by third parties. We do not control the availability, security, accuracy, or terms of those websites and files. Loading a PDF from a URL creates a direct request to the host of that file.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the extension to distribute malware, interfere with websites or networks, obtain unauthorized access, evade technical restrictions, harvest credentials, or collect information for unlawful surveillance, discrimination, fraud, or abuse.
7. Intellectual property
The extension code may be provided under the licence stated in its repository or distribution package. These terms do not transfer ownership of third-party website content, PDF files, trademarks, or other material processed through the extension.
8. Availability and changes
The extension is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. Browser updates, source website changes, PDF formats, and third-party restrictions may affect a feature. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and will update product descriptions when a material capability changes.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the extension is provided as is and as available, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Do not rely on an unreviewed export for financial, legal, medical, safety, or other high-impact decisions.
Before publication, obtain legal advice on enforceable warranty disclaimers, liability caps, consumer rights, governing law, and dispute provisions for the operator’s jurisdiction.
10. Contact
Replace this paragraph with the legal name of the operator, a monitored support email, and any business address or registration details required by applicable law.
